SUMMER ROWING PROGRAM      SUMMER RACING PROGRAM

SUMMER RACING PROGRAM

The Resilient Rowing Summer Racing Program will be comprised of U17, U19 and U23 rowers and coxswains who are ready to take their rowing to the next level. Athletes at this level should be looking to not only improve their fundamental rowing skills but also looking to represent the Occoquan at the local, National, and International level. Members of this Group will train in both sweep and sculling boats with the goal of racing in multiple boat classes at each sprint regatta attended.

All athletes will be evaluated by at least two coaches based on a variety of factors including: 2K score, power to weight ratio, 10 stroke & 1 minute watt tests, overall fitness, technical aptitude, and boat moving abilities.
