The Resilient Rowing  Program Placement Period is designed to help place U17 (2004 or later birth year), U19 (2002 or later birth year), and U23 athletes into the program that is appropriate for that individual's age, physical ability, and technical skill level.  The Program Placement Period is mandatory for all athletes that are interested in racing during the summer.

All athletes that participate in the Program Placement Period will be evaluated by at least two coaches based on a variety of factors including: 2K score, power to weight ratio, 10 stroke & 1 minute watt tests, overall fitness, technical aptitude, and boat moving ability, relative to other athletes in that individual's specific age group. After this two week period, all athletes will be placed into one of two groups, the Summer Racing Group or the Developmental Group, based on the results from the evaluation process.
